Catalysis course delivery at Quy Nhon University from 18 to 24 September 2022

We were extremely honored to host the Catalysis course given by Dr. Esteban Mejía from University of Rostock – Germany, and assisted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phi Hung and Dr. Nguyen Van Thang from Quy Nhon University.

The main objective of the course was to provide attendees with basic and up-to-date knowledge in Catalysis including the principles, mechanisms, and applications of the different types of catalysts that operated both in homogeneous phase (such as organometallic catalysts and organocatalysts) and in heterogeneous phase. Coupled with master students majoring in the Theoretical and Physical Chemistry at Quy Nhon University, the course had attracted the attention of lecturers from the four Vietnamese partner universities involved in the MOMA project as well as many undergraduate students majoring in Chemistry.

We sincerely thank Dr. Esteban Mejía for his enthusiastic teaching and we really appreciate all students and lecturers participating in the course.  Your presence and active participation is an invaluable contribution to the success of the course.
